Hrostele and other unpronounceable things

My mother baked because she loved it, but more than that she loved the people she baked for. And sewed and knitted and did wedding flowers for. Peggy was a giver. She was the kindest person I know. Sharing her recipes made her proud and happy. Pulling her beautiful chiffon cake out of the oven and turning it over onto an empty bottle to cool made her feel accomplished. She was a farmer's wife and the mother of two adopted children who she loved fiercely and deeply. And she was so much more. 

She would love that I'm going to be sharing her recipes with you. And from wherever she is in this unfathomable universe of ours, I'm sure she's keenly watching to see how they turn out. Have a huge amount of fun baking them!
